The meeting and conference room represents the reception area of HIT Research Centre, used for meetings of the research team and conferences with outside guests. It is also used for training courses such as CARS courses, Advanced Courses for Scientific Research,oriented to researchers and pre/post graduate students.

HIT Research Centre of Padova aims at making technology able to serve individual and collective tasks, exploring new and enticing solutions to interface humans and technologies and reflecting on the implications of the interdependence between humans and machines.

The Centre then is involved in national and international projects, offers resources and equipment for the training of young researchers and graduate students, and organizes seminars, workshops and showcases.

HIT centre is equipped with highly immersive virtual reality helmets and augmented reality glasses. The lab also has a mixed-reality space called eXperience Induction Machine (XIM2), Body haptic interfaces and vibrotactile and data gloves. Further technologies are: high definition monitors, autostereoscopic 3D displays, last generation powerful computers and videorecording digital equipment. The lab also includes a riding training simulator.
