Aim
This course aims to analyze the legal, ethical and societal implications of current digital technologies and to be acquainted with the main aspects of the legal frameworks regulating their deployment.

Syllabus
Comparative Approaches to the Legal Challenges of AI
 (specifically EU, the US, and China)
- the ideals of consent and control
- the conceptualizations of public interest
- the insufficiency of data protection.
EU regulations for digital data and A.I.
- the concept of technological risk
- the role of humans in the AI functioning
- the use of AI for healthcare, in general
