Project description
My research project concerns the investigation of Digital Therapeutics (DTx) solutions for digital-based interventions aimed at supporting the psychological well-being and mental health of breast cancer patients. Indeed, the study develops from the current need and urgency of facilitating easier accessibility of psycho-oncological support to women with breast cancer. Specifically, we will develop and validate Virtual Coaching strategies and psychoeducational interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, delivered by means of dialog-based digital solutions. Women's well-being will be increased by working with particular attention to the reduction of symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety, those symptoms that mainly affect these patients according to the existing cutting-edge scientific literature on DTx solutions for mental health and well-being.
