Aim:
To introduce the cognitive and neurobiological basis of attentional processing and its relationship with language-based learning disabilities

Course content:
What attention is, how it is measured, the different types of attention, phonological and orthographic development. Attentional mechanisms, perceptual modulation, spatial, non-spatial and selective attention, phoneme perception and letter string perception.
