Project description
This project will consist of the development of a smartphone application for data management and communication among specialists responsible for the care of patients with gender incongruence at the regional reference center for gender incongruence (CRRIG). Comprehensive patient management and teamwork are essential to ensure adequate healthcare standards for individuals. In an interdisciplinary group where multiple specialists collaborate, effective communication, cooperation, and constant updates on the patient's situation are crucial. However, the increasing number of people accessing the service and the reasonable assumption that the number of users will continue to grow in the coming years make it necessary to create a shared system that simplifies healthcare data management while preserving the complexity and diversity of users. It should also keep professionals updated while respecting privacy and sharing only the information strictly necessary for the type of collaboration Furthermore, as the University Hospital of Padua is the primary location for conducting research and educational activities for the School of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua, the application can be used to administer questionnaires, collect data, or conduct other types of research with the informed consent of the user.
