Project description
My research project is oriented to the development and exploitation of advanced technologies meant to support Law enforcement and Intelligence. My main research areas will regard cybersecurity, digital forensic, biometrics and their use to face threat scenarios. The aim of this project is the proposal of novel techniques to improve Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) activities. It will delve into various aspects of cyber threat intelligence, including data collection methods, threat actor profiling, threat detection and analysis techniques, and the use of machine learning for automated threat intelligence. The interdisciplinarity of this work will be additionally based upon the protection and defence of vulnerable users and the prevention and investigation of unlawful activities.
