Project description
My research interest is in the field of neuro-symbolic AI, aiming to develop adaptable and interpretable AI systems that combine both learned and rule-based knowledge. In particular, I am studying the integration in neural networks of layers that can be interpreted with fuzzy logic. Such neural layers can be used to form a robust connection between the neural network and symbolic algorithms. For example, they could allow to combine classical planning with a neurally-learned world model.
