Evaluating web-delivered psychological intervention

This course is designed to familiarize students with knowledge and understanding of evaluating cognitive behavioral approaches to psychological management of mental disorders and long-term physical health conditions. Some interventions are accepted and recommended by National Treatment Guidelines (such as NICE) but there is a need to improve access to treatment, cost effectiveness and clinical outcome. Approaches can range from standard face to face intervention through web-based and the use of virtual reality or smart-phone technology to deliver targeted interventions.
